INBOX: Call Me By Your Meme Vol. 1

Can anything still be original, in a state of reality where apps can be used to create works of art, and where everything can be looked up and accessed with a few swipes on our smartphone? Call Me By Your Meme vol. 1 is a research project that explores through a reflective study on authorship and creativity the tensions between different media elements and the absurd overload of information and impulses in our present-day society. The project, initiated by Nathan Gotlib, invites 24 (inter)national artists to reinvent three well-known Internet memes.
