On Saturday, April 26, we invite you behind the scenes of our archive depot. As part of the exhibition “Hugo Roelandt – The End is a New Beginning”, you will have a unique opportunity to closely examine the archives of several artists.

In the 1970s and 80s, Hugo Roelandt created iconic performances such as the occupation of Groendalstraat (1981) in Antwerp and the Aeromatic Art Project (1983) with hovering model helicopters. Along with experts and students, we will investigate how we can reinterpret these performances.

Meet Bruno Zhu. Bruno Zhu lives and works between Portugal and the Netherlands. Through an artistic practice that combines fashion design, writing and publishing, and scenography, Zhu challenges the normative constraints that narrow our thinking and reinforce the dynamics of social reproduction.
